Winnipeg National Gathering Summary Report Now Available

The Summary Report of the second National Gathering on Unmarked Burials: Addressing Trauma in the Search and Recovery of Missing Children that took place in Winnipeg, MB, on Treaty 1 Territory, November 28-30, 2022 is available for review. Thank you to all participants who were able to join in person and virtually.

Kimberly R. Murray, the Independent Special Interlocutor for Missing Children and Unmarked Graves and Burials associated with Indian Residential Schools, urges everyone to consider responding to a Call for Submissions, to share perspectives on search and recovery work including legal, policy or other reforms to support the Sacred work.
